Artist's Comments

What are those big, deep yellow roses with pinkish orange colour called? I recieved a bouquet of those once, and I really liked their uniqueness.

Anyhoo. My first try at recreating them. not very rose like, but it'll get there. Left raised slightly. Opal yellow and rubino. Flat focal bead, good for a pendant.

They look like roses to me! Although you could always market them as 'buttercup beads', too. They evoke a little buttercup there, too. ^_^

Really lovely!

O Spirit, whom the Father sent To spread abroad the firmament.
Oh wind of heaven, by Thy might Save all who dare the eagle's flight.
And keep them by thy watchful care From every peril in the air. - Naval Hymn.
